Sneak Preview of GoldMine 8.5

The new version of GoldMine Premium Edition is supposed to have some wonderful enhancements. Subject to change in development, GoldMine 8.5 is due to be released by March, 2009. A few of the changes are listed below:
Email center enhancements
- More aligned with Outlook interface and functionality.
- Improved usability of GoldMine functions.
Preview Panes (See screenshots below)
- Quick, detailed view Reference and Notes of Pending or Historic Activities.
- Quick view of all Details Fields.
- Quick preview of Linked Documents.
- No need to drill down to retrieve much needed information.
Lookup lists validated by record type
- Ability to validate based on another field
– Example: Validate contact owner based on country
– Example: Validate the product offering in a case based on the case type
Universal search
- Search on GMPE business objects, as well as, detailed child record information such as notes, activities or emails.
- Enables users to quickly access information from one central location.
Account management enhancements
- Improved Relationships Tab.
- Improvements to Record Typing
- Ability to lookup contacts based on attributes related to account
- Ability to replicate data automatically
Extra Details Fields
- Easy ability to use all 15 available fields under Details.
